GTA Online

 For those unfamiliar with GTA Online, it's what I would call an extension of GTA V, as it is set in the same fictional universe, but the timeline is different, although the events of both games are interwoven, and certain characters either make a physical appearance or are at least referenced.

The basic premise of GTA online is where you create your own character from the ground up. Once this is done, you are put into a cutscene where your character arrives in the city of  Los Santos (based on Los Angeles), you are met by Lamar Davis, who is a wannabe gangster known for making dodgy deals that land him and his friends in hot water, which cause people to resent him and wanting nothing more to do with him.

You are basically a gun for hire. The more reputation points you earn, the higher your rank goes up, the more "rewards" you unlock, and over time many notable criminals will contact you to do jobs for them, which earn you GTA dollars and RP. Afterwards you can either call them and ask for a job, or go to the job menu and choose one yourself. Most of them can be completed solo, but some jobs require at least one other person to assist you.

The best way to earn money is the various heists, which involve other players, and they have varying degrees of difficulty, and the payout from each job varies. You need to own at least one high end apartment, and some heists require you to own certain businesses and buildings in order to access them. There are usually 2 or 3 prep missions you have to do before each heist.

Most of the businesses require you to undertake supply missions so that they can be turned into stock, which then can be sold for profit. You have the option of either stealing supplies or buying them all for $75000. There are optional upgrades you can purchase, such as equipment, staff, and security which can double your productivity. Sell missions usually require more than one vehicle, which means you'll need to recruit 2 more players to assist you, but it's not always easy to find 2 people willing enough to help you out.
